Just got back from the just concluded ACTS2002 and the EAIF.

Bill Woodcock arrives from Nairobi on the early morning of Sunday -- 11th
and will be available either at the IxP, CFi or Sheraton Hotel
office most of sunday. Anyone who wants have a head start is welcome
to meet him on that day.

I'm still wrestling with UCC's procedures to secure their board room
for the monday seminar.

Program:

Monday 12th, 2002

9:30am - 1:00pm:        Exchange Point models, infrastructure, connectivity
                         and Operational/Technical Guidelines.

                         BGP Demo

2:30-5:00pm             Q&A, open discussion and action plan for the UiXP.

Tuesday 13th, 2002:

9:30am - 1:00pm Exchange Point evolution, economics, opportunities
                         and growth scenarios.

                         Thirty day(30) road map to have UiXP up & running.

About the keynote Presenter:

Bill Woodcock is research director of Packet Clearing House, a non-profit
research institute dedicated to understanding and supporting Internet traffic
exchange technology, policy and economics. Bill has operated regional and
national Internet networks since 1989, and currently spends most of his time
building Internet Exchange Points in developing countries.
