Hello everyone,

I'll be away to an ICANN meeting(www.icann.org) in Accra, Ghana
from the 9th-15th, March 02'

All else at the IXP should proceed pretty much without much
disruption. Some of the ongoing activities are:

i) Tidying-up the IXP LAN, providing separate termination(Wall mounted
patch panel & trunking) for individual member circuits as the
links come in into the IX premises. We have provided for these extras
to accomplish this task.

-- 2 24-port patch panels(A wall mountable block & a RACK mounted one)
-- 5 Trunks(3.5m) of 100x100mm trunks(can carry over 100 CAT5 cables)
-- 1 Roll of Gigabyte CAT6??

ii) Hope Mugagga will start compiling a list of possible IXP users/members
beyond the present scope.

iii) Afsat will wire up an IP link for the office.

That's a brief summary.
