For What comm equipment? I thought they are supposed to be taking care of
making a LAN in the room for the IXP? I have been away for some time and
will be again until Saturday but I will go and take a look when I am back
to see what they are talking about.

I only see this as a problem if we're considering how those who are using
wireless to connect to the IXP will get in. Are we also solving their
problems as well. As far as I knew each ISP is responsible for taking care
of how they get into the room to avoid all of this though of course it is
good to help as much as possible without over stretching the budget.
