Charles,
Hear are some 1 pence suggestions:
a) Why don't we just ask the building manager and we ran a 1.2KVA supply
line
to the roof with about 8 socket outlets? This should be quite easy and not
so expensive.
b) If conduits are to be used, they should be metallic and properly earthed
to the lightening protection line.
